This is what's behind this campaign: http://www.commonwealthfoundation.org/about/ Read that and then think about what caused the current state of the world economy. Preposterous!
What's preposterous about a conservative think-tank promoting its values through a didactic ad? Regardless of its origin I found this film highly interesting and technically outstanding.
"There are lies, damn lies and statistics" Nicely made movie indeed but they chose to go with U.S. Public Debt in (I think) 2010 dollars, not as a percentage of GDP. Which is very indicative of the spin they want to put on things. Consider the same movie, with all the increases in departments and programs with this graph: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:US_Federal_Debt_as_Percent_of_GDP_by_President.jpg
